Dear IAB Community,
Yesterday at the Discovery: AI & Search Summit (photo gallery now live) we released a Bots and Crawler Guidance & Decision Matrix, a resource helping content owners tell beneficial, commercial and unknown non-human traffic apart. It breaks bot activity into five jobs (discovery/search, AI training, live AI agents, operational infrastructure, and unknown/unverified traffic) with a decision matrix and starter policy worksheet to help you allow, condition, license or block each on its merits. It is a resource that will be added to over time.
Our next events are in three weeks focussing on programmatic OOH in collaboration with the OMA. Powering DOOH mixes brand new case studies, technical and measurement guidance, practical content with high-level strategic planning sessions for anyone investing or looking to invest in digital OOH.
Also make sure you grab your tickets for MeasureUp – bigger and better than ever in its 10th year. The IAB US CEO, David Cohen, is flying out to join us to discuss the US market and work that IAB is doing globally in measurement. A reminder this full day conference is our only event where members don't receive free tickets but we have still priced it to make it as accessible as possible for across the industry.
The Ipsos iris and IAB Australia Digital Landscape Report for June 2026 is now available for members. It covers device ownership and usage, streaming behaviour and online media consumption across the 22.7 million Australians online each month, along with a breakdown by age of how we're watching, listening and scrolling.
More resources, an introduction to our new member Billups and a range of industry job openings below.
‘Til next week,
Gai
