Dear IAB Community,
September saw Australians flocking to sports sites for the annual festival of the boot, with more than six in ten visiting a sports site or app during the month. The latest Ipsos iris digital audience ratings highlight the top sports and news environments, along with upticks across career, gaming, health, and real estate properties.
The ad market is shifting from those extra footy dollars into a period where many marketers are kicking off key retail activity. We're currently collating data for the September Quarter Internet Advertising Revenue Report, to be released to members in mid-November, but early data shows strong video investment and continued softness for standard display. Historic reports and data sets are available for members on the IAB Australia site.
Attendees at next week's Brisbane Market Update will get the latest consumer and revenue trends, including new insights created specifically for this event.
