Dear IAB Community,

A MeasureUp WrapUp is now available for those who want to revisit or for people kicking themselves that they didn't get to the biggest and best MeasureUp conference yet. Pop September 10th 2025 in your diary so you don't miss out next year. Our Brisbane Market Update is on in less than four weeks so make sure you register quickly.

The IAB Australia Board, with representatives from Carsales, Domain, Google, The Guardian, Index Exchange, Meta, News Corp, Nine, REA, Seven, Yahoo are helping to curate an important new event on the marketing calendar. The IAB Australia Leadership Summit being held on 20th November builds on a strong global IAB tradition of leadership events and will provide a crucial opportunity to discuss shared challenges, debate the big issues and identify ways to positively shape the future of the advertising and marketing industry.  This is primarily an invitation only event and invitations will be distributed over the next week, but you can also fill out an expressions of interest form on our site.

The full agenda will be announced very soon but we are thrilled to announce we have two incredibly smart and knowledgeable heavy hitters flying in for the Leadership Summit. Dr Daniel Knapp who is the chief economist of IAB Europe can explain the economic shifts of the industry like no-one else and Anthony Katsur the CEO of IAB Tech Lab is the driving force developing solutions and standards to support the industry as well as meeting the needs of regulators around the world.

The latest IAB member exclusive discounts include reduced ticket prices for SXSW, Remade and Cairns Crocodiles. Members will need to login to access these codes.

In the latest IAB Australia Podcast we hear from Are Media and Future Publishing about the growing role of content in affiliate marketing. A perfect commute listen.

Sorrel Kesby from GumGum has reviewed the annual Talent Review released last month in the latest From the Bureau column for B&T. Definitely worth a read if you are looking to support an increasingly junior workforce.

We are well and truly now in upfronts season, and it is great to see so many IAB members announcing a raft of new products, programs and initiatives. In case you missed them you can find the announcements here – Carsales Open House, oOh! Outfront, Paramount Upfront, TikTok For You Summit and YouTube Brandcast.

A big warm welcome to the newest IAB members – Shirofune and Uncommon Media.

More resources and a great range of jobs below.

'Til next week
