Dear IAB Community,

The latest IAB Australia and Ipsos iris digital landscape report has just been released. A 30-page report outlining the latest digital device ownership and habits available exclusively for IAB members including details on device popularity for streaming different forms of content, shifts in phone operating systems, increases in the number of personal digital devices per person and much more.

On Tuesday afternoon we released the latest Affiliate and Partnership Marketing Industry Review to a full house at the Affiliate and Partnership Marketing Summit. The report covers affiliate investment patterns, usage of types of affiliate partners and publishers, metrics and methods used to measure success. If you would like to get a better understanding of the channel I would highly recommend undertaking the Affiliate and Partnerships Marketing Essential Training.

In the latest IAB podcast we are joined by Kali Guillas from The Trade Desk and Benton Goodbrand from Kinesso to discuss the latest trends in programmatic advertising including shifts in investments in different formats and buy types as well as the types of data signals that can provide the best chances of success for both buy and sell sides.

A huge congratulations to Steve Golding from Nova Entertainment for being elected as chair of the Audio Council and a big thanks to Richard Palmer from Triton Digital for leading the group for over five years. The Audio Council recently dazzled the industry with a range of research releases, guidance and examples at the Audio Summit, videos for this event are available for those who missed the Sydney and Melbourne events.

The Data Council led by Chris Brinkworth from Civic Data and Rachida Murray from Spark Foundry have organised a brilliant line up of speakers and topics for the upcoming Data and Privacy Summit. Covering consumer privacy and regulatory updates, responsible data management, responsible addressability and data activation, this is a must attend event for all sides of the industry.

For our Melbourne community, a reminder that the Melbourne AdOps event is being held in June this year with registration now open.

In the second From the Bureau article for B&T, our Tech Lead Jonas Jaanimagi provides an overview of the topics on the minds of Australian advertising technology leaders based on a half day workshop recently with twelve major tech companies.
