Dear IAB Community,
Following the release of the local Internet Advertising Revenue Report, new IAB reports and commentary from New Zealand, the UK, the US and Europe all point to continued growth in digital advertising. Taken together, they also highlight deeper changes underway in the market. From the rise of creator media to the growing influence of SMEs and global advertisers, several quieter shifts are shaping where the next wave of growth will come from and how advertising is planned, measured and traded. We have just published an article on the global shifts in digital advertising investment.
Digital audio continues to grow and play a broader strategic role in media plans, according to the latest Digital Audio State of the Nation Report. It points to the next phase of growth, with stronger measurement, clearer proof of effectiveness and responsible use of technologies including AI helping unlock further investment.
The report was launched at our Audio Summits this week. Photo galleries from the Sydney and Melbourne events are available, with videos and additional content to be shared with attendees next week.
In our latest podcast I chat with three members of the Executive Technology Council from OpenX, Publicis and Ogury about key themes shaping digital advertising and ad tech in 2026.
If you are a publisher, agency or brand involved in affiliate marketing, take ten minutes to complete our short industry survey and secure a spot at the upcoming Sydney Affiliate and Partnership Marketing Summit.
More resources from IAB members are included below, along with a selection of job opportunities.
'Til next week
