Q1 Ad Spend Report
Online Advertising Expenditure Report - Q1
Total online advertising spend continues to grow, with first quarter expenditure at $1.86 Billion, up 7.2 per cent year on year. This represents a seasonal decline of 5.8 per cent on fourth quarter expenditure, although classified increased by 7.1 per cent compared to Q4 and had the strongest year on year growth of 15.9 per cent. All categories grew year on year with search up 6 per cent and display 4.5 per cent.

Australian Online Landscape Review - April
Last month (May 2017) the Productivity Commission's Final Report into Data Availability and Use was released by the Federal Government. In just under 100 pages, the Commission proposed a complete overhaul of the data management system in Australia. The report signifies a substantial evolution in the broader approach to data in Australia. This update is a brief 7-page summary of the headline challenges and opportunities that lie ahead.

Australian Online Landscape Review - April
The digital landscape in April 2017 saw Australians spend 65 hours surfing online across over 224 sessions per person, with 20,072,000 people actively surfing online. In April there were over half a billion sessions on 14 million smart phones, and 300 million session across 18 million desktop devices.
